MBA Research Paper

Abstract This study focuses on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, examining both its challenges and opportunities. Notably, industry leader HubSpot has successfully implemented AI to enhance operational efficiency and customer experiences, highlighting its potential benefits. The global SaaS market has experienced significant growth, with the United States leading the way and a projected value set to reach $307 billion by 2026. However, the introduction of AI in SaaS raises important considerations, including potential job displacement, privacy regulations, and data integrity. This study identifies these challenges, provides specific recommendations, and uses Porter’s Diamond Model for SaaS Cluster, the research methodology involves literature reviews, market research, and statistical data. The study aims to provide insights into the economic implications of AI integration in the SaaS industry and address social, regulatory, and data integrity challenges. SaaS companies can leverage AI to optimize their operations and gain a competitive edge. The recommendations stress the significance of robust data governance, customer-centric product development, and strategic collaboration with related support industries like Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Payment Service Providers (PSPs). In summary, this research offers valuable insights to SaaS companies looking to harness AI’s potential while effectively addressing challenges and fostering innovation, growth, and ethical excellence in the industry.
